Floating Sculpture

Temporary floating sculpture installed in Provincetown, Massachusetts, harbor commissioned to commemorate the 350th anniversary of the founding of Provincetown. Invited sculptors chose sites off shore and moored the works for the summer long show. After three months of riding the tides, winds and weather, the floating pyramid with designs made of reflective material was the only one to survive the season relatively intact.  At night, the designs on the sides of the pyramid would react to the lights onshore as the piece bobbed and shifted with the sea.
